The Initiation Ceremony

"Where am I???"

I barely got a slight glimpse of the room between the time this mystery guy took my blindfolds off and when he locked the door, leaving me alone in the dark, strapped to a chair that would not move. The guy did mention that I can ask for help and quit at any given time.

My cousin always told me that he'd never forget his initiation night at the ALFA-DELTA-THETA sorority, but he also remained relatively secretive about it, and I never understood why.

We were told to wait in a dark alleyway at midnight, which should have sounded quite alarming. When the sorority members came, they told us to put on blindfolds, and then they strapped our legs and arms, so that we cannot run. We were then taken by car to what seemed to be a remote house, and now I am all alone in this basement.

Feeling two ropes in front of me, what should I do?
